Functional Tasks:

• Develop, update, and implement cybersecurity incident monitoring methodologies.
• Ensure the collection and 24/7 monitoring of all information and technology asset logs and events.
• Enhance the mechanism for analyzing cybersecurity logs and events, developing use cases for detecting and managing cyber attacks.
• Proactively collect and analyze cybersecurity-related information from national or international sources.
• Use preventive measures and collected information to identify and analyze potential network events, and develop and implement cybersecurity policies related to monitoring and analysis.
• Report information crimes and cyber incidents to senior management.
• Monitor the implementation of incident response tasks to support response teams.
• Support in assessing the impact of changes affecting employees, operations, and systems, and develop awareness initiatives and communication channels.
• Contribute to managing the development and implementation of policies and procedures, and reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
• Prepare and review reports to ensure they meet the Authority's policies, standards, and requirements to achieve efficiency and excellence.

The Digital Government Authority is a Saudi governmental authority established by a Council of Ministers decision dated March 9, 2021 (corresponding to Rajab 25, 1442 AH).
