Technical Office Manager (Electrical / Mechanical)

• Lead and manage the Technical Office team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Review and approve shop drawings, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and quantity take-offs.
• Review contract documents, specifications, and tender requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, and site teams on technical matters.
• Review and approve material submittals, technical submittals, and method statements.
• Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), technical queries, and engineering clarifications.
• Provide technical solutions and support to resolve engineering and construction issues.
• Evaluate and manage variation orders and their technical impact.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards.
• Monitor the timely issuance of engineering documents and reports.
• Develop and improve Technical Office procedures and workflows.
• Support project planning, cost control, and value engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Up to 15 years of relevant experience in Technical Office management within construction or MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design, shop drawings, BOQs, and project documentation.
• Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Revit, Primavera P6, and BIM is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of international engineering standards, codes, and construction contracts.
