Job description
Job Purpose
Contribute to ensuring the integrity of financial records and the timely preparation of periodic reports in line with approved accounting standards, while supporting the Finance Department in making decisions based on accurate and reliable data.
Key Responsibilities
1. Core Accounting Duties
• Record daily journal entries and ensure accurate posting to the general ledger
• Prepare and review bank reconciliation statements on a regular basis
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable and prepare aging reports
• Process expenses and financial claims in accordance with company policies
• Prepare monthly closing adjustments and reconciliations
2. Financial Reporting
• Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Prepare financial analysis reports and compare budgeted vs. actual figures
• Provide periodic financial summaries to the Department Head
3. Compliance & Tax
• Ensure compliance with Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) requirements
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure their accuracy
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required documentation
4. Supporting Duties
• Maintain and archive financial documents and records
• Participate in asset and inventory counts
• Support the Finance team with additional tasks as needed
