Localisation Producer
Client of Discovered MENA
10–15 years of experience
We are hiring a Localisation Producer to build an Arabic-first localisation function from the ground up, and lead it. An ambitious, well-backed international games company is standing up a specialised localisation team from nothing, and this role owns it. It's a two-fold mission: lead the high-fidelity localisation of existing global titles into Arabic, and architect the self-service tools and Unity-based frameworks that let game teams localise autonomously. You'll sit between complex linguistic requirements and scalable software engineering, build the team, own the roadmap and set the technical standard. Discover the Role • Own the Arabic-First Strategy: Lead the technical implementation of RTL rendering, bidirectional text and dynamic font scaling in Unity so Arabic feels native, not patched in. • Enable the Pipeline: Design automated CI/CD workflows that extract, translate and re-inject localised content into live builds, cutting time-to-market for regional updates. • Build the Tooling: Architect internal tools string management, automated QA, translation sync that let game teams integrate Arabic localisation without constant manual work. • Lead the Team: Recruit and mentor a core team of senior engineers and UX designers focused on MENA-specific technical challenges. • Consult and Enable: Act as an internal consultant to game studios, giving them the SDKs and best practices to reach "Arabic-ready" status on their own. • Own Delivery: Drive the multi-phase roadmap and the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from sprint cycles and RTL quality gates to CI/CD integration.
