Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the company s legal strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Advise executive leadership on legal risks, opportunities, and strategic decisions.
Corporate Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance frameworks.
- Oversee corporate governance practices, board support, and regulatory filings.
Contracts & Commercial Matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, partnerships, and contracts.
- Establish contract management frameworks and approval processes.
Risk Management & Disputes
- Identify legal risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage disputes, litigation, and external legal counsel relationships.
Regulatory & Policy Oversight
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure business alignment with legal requirements.
- Develop and enforce internal policies and legal procedures.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and develop the legal team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders (HR, Finance, Operations) on legal matters.
External Counsel & Budget Management
- Manage relationships with external law firms and control legal spend.
- Evaluate legal services and ensure cost-effective delivery.
Bachelor s degree in Law (LLB); Master s degree (LLM) is a plus.
- 10+ years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in corporate, commercial, and regulatory law.
- Proven experience managing complex legal matters and advising senior leadership.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC legal environments.
- Experience in industries such as industrial, construction, or financial services.
- Admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
- Experience managing in-house legal teams and external counsel.
