Senior AP Accountant

Aster Pharmacy is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced AP Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounts payable processes, financial controls, and vendor management, with previous experience in the retail industry.

Role Snapshot:

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, three-way matching, and timely vendor payments.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOCPA standards, and Zakat/VAT regulations.

• Monitor AP aging and cash flow forecasts to support payment planning.

• Prepare month-end AP schedules, accruals, and reconciliations for management reporting.

• Liaise with procurement, warehouse, and store operations teams to resolve invoice or PO discrepancies.

• Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and reports.

• Drive process improvements and automation within the AP function using ERP systems.

• Saudi National.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• SOCPA certification is required.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.

• Previous experience in the retail sector is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
