Job Description

Job Summary

Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Riyadh is seeking a diligent, organized, and reliable Saudi National to join our Materials Management team as a Warehouse Keeper. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel storehouses, managing stock levels for food & beverage, operating supplies, and equipment (OS&E), and maintaining strict adherence to both Accor’s international inventory standards and Saudi Arabia's local regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Inventory Control & Management
  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and quality specifications.
  • Log all receipts, issuances, and transfers accurately in the hotel’s inventory tracking system (e.g., FMC / MC / SAP).
  • Ensure the proper storage of all items, implementing a strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methodology, especially for perishable Food & Beverage products.
  • Monitor stock levels closely to prevent overstocking or shortages, and initiate reorder requests to the purchasing department in a timely manner.
  1. Warehouse Operations & Maintenance
  • Organize and maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and layout of the warehouse areas according to standard safety regulations and ALLSAFE (Accor) hygiene practices.
  • Safeguard hotel property against loss, damage, theft, or deterioration.
  • Issue goods and materials to various hotel departments only upon receipt of authorized store requisitions.
  • Promptly flag and report any slow-moving, expired, or damaged stock to the Materials Manager.
  1. Auditing & Reporting
  • Participate actively in monthly and periodic physical stock-taking counts alongside the finance/auditing team.
  • Investigate and reconcile any discrepancies found between physical stock counts and system records.
  • Prepare and submit accurate reports on stock levels, consumption trends, and waste management.

Qualifications

  • Nationality: Strictly open to Saudi Nationals (In compliance with Saudization targets).
  • Education: High School Diploma, Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or inventory control (Hospitality/Hotel experience is highly preferred).
  • Language Skills: Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel). Familiarity with hotel inventory software (like Material Control/FMC) is a significant advantage.
  • Physical Demands: Physical stamina to lift, move, and organize heavy item boxes, and the agility to work across different temperature-controlled storerooms (dry, chilled, and frozen).
