Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate engineering electrical drawings, Bills of Materials, and specifications using CAD (EPLAN & AutoCAD) to enable pump manufacturing.
- Perform and validate detailed design calculations to ensure designs meet customer requirements, safety, and quality standards.
- Design and develop customized pump components and assemblies based on customer specifications and company standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams like Sales and Tendering, Project Management, and Manufacturing to support project execution and address technical challenges.
- Supervise and review the work of design engineers and drafters to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.
- Adhere to strict schedule deadlines and ensure timely delivery of all engineering tasks and deliverables.
- Participate in order reviews, design meetings, and administrative functions to support effective project management.
- Contribute to process improvements and uphold EHS and company quality standards in all tasks.
- Participation in customer meetings and site visits to ensure customer satisfaction and provide technical alignment.
- Support and collaborate with other engineering facilities and divisions in the Global Sulzer Organization to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering; CAD or Lean certification is an advantage.
- 5 8 years of relevant work experience in electrical and mechanical design environments.
- Proficiency in electrical CAD design using EPLAN (AutoCAD as a minimum), with solid experience in Teamcenter and SAP.
- Sound knowledge of electrical drafting, manufacturing processes, and detailed calculations for pump components and assemblies.
- Familiarity with LEAN principles, EHS standards, and order execution and handling processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring capability, excellent time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
