Fuel Performance & Monitoring Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. System Monitoring & Control

Monitor real-time diesel consumption through installed software and hardware systems (fuel sensors, telematics, ERP integration).

Track fuel usage across plants, equipment, and transport fleet.

Ensure all systems are functioning correctly, calibrated, and consistently reporting.

Operational Oversight (Field + Office)

Conduct site visits to asphalt plants and project locations.

Verify actual fuel usage vs reported data.

Ensure operators and supervisors follow fuel handling procedures.

4. Reporting & Insights

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly fuel consumption reports.

Highlight:

Variances

Inefficiencies

Suspicious patterns

Provide actionable recommendations to reduce fuel consumption and cost.

5. Loss Prevention & Control

Detect fuel theft, misuse, or operational waste.

Implement control measures and escalation protocols.

Work closely with operations, maintenance, and finance teams.

6. System Improvement & Optimization

Continuously improve monitoring processes.

Coordinate with vendors for system upgrades or troubleshooting.

Recommend automation and AI-based enhancements where applicable.
