Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies specifically for Transport DMO projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgetary requirements.
- Lead the procurement team in managing sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and vendor management for transport-related needs.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to accurately capture procurement requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms and quality standards.
- Identify market trends and emerging transport technologies to incorporate innovation and best practices in procurement.
- Ensure procurement processes comply with legal, regulatory, and corporate policies, mitigating risk effectively.
- Prepare and present procurement reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and develop procurement team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master s degree or MBA preferred.
- 10 + years of experience in procurement and commercial management, with a focus on transportation or large scale infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated success establishing procurement teams
- Proven experience in handling complex procurement processes, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with procurement regulations and governance frameworks, especially within the transportation sector in Saudi Arabia.
