Job description
The AVM Asset Specialist is a senior technical professional with over 10 years of experience in infrastructure and fleet asset management. He oversees ITS maintenance activities, evaluates contractor performance, and ensures service delivery meets passenger and employer expectations. The role also involves advising on asset management strategy, supervising preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring SLA compliance through monitoring, auditing, and reporting.
Your role
ITS Maintenance Oversight: Supervise and verify all ITS maintenance activities to ensure quality and compliance.
Contractor Performance: Measure, evaluate, and adjust contractor performance where required.
Mobilization Oversight: Oversee ITS contractor mobilization and readiness.
Submission Review: Review contractor submissions including asset and maintenance plans, procedures, and instructions.
Operator Coordination: Oversee coordination between operators and ITS contractors.
SLA Monitoring: Monitor, audit, and report on Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Asset Strategy: Advise on asset management strategy for infrastructure and fleet.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Supervise maintenance of station equipment and fleet assets.
Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure SLA adherence and maintain high standards of asset reliability.
- Minimum of 10 years technical experience in infrastructure and fleet asset management.
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Transport Systems, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of ITS systems, asset management, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to measure contractor performance and identify improvement areas.
- Proven ability to supervise teams and oversee contractors effectively.
- Strong ability to liaise with contractors, operators, and vendors.
- Aptitude for resolving operational challenges and ensuring SLA compliance.
