Job description
Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of advanced electronic control systems, PLCs, and SCADA networks crucial for water treatment processes.
Diagnose and repair complex electrical and electronic malfunctions in pumps, motors, chemical feed systems, and instrumentation, minimizing downtime.
Implement and manage preventative maintenance schedules for all electronic equipment, utilizing predictive maintenance technologies to enhance reliability.
Interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and upgrade system components efficiently.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience as an Electronic Technician specifically within water/wastewater treatment facilities.
Possession of relevant certifications such as Certified Electronics Technician (CET) or specific PLC/SCADA vendor certifications.
Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and instrumentation.
