Job Description: Accountant / Financial Controller

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Accountant to manage the financial records, reporting, compliance, and cost-control systems of our beauty salon.

The accountant will be responsible for ensuring that all income, expenses, invoices, receipts, payroll, VAT, Zakat, and financial reports are accurate, organized, and submitted on time.

Main Responsibilities

The accountant will be responsible for:

1. Daily & Weekly Financial Control
   * Check and organize all receipts on a weekly basis.
   * Make sure every expense has a clear receipt or invoice.
   * Verify that all purchases are correctly categorized by department, such as lashes, nails, PMU, cleaning, maintenance, salaries, housing, and general expenses.
   * Review cash, bank transfers, card payments, online payments, and POS reports.
   * Reconcile daily sales with actual payments received.
2. VAT, ZATCA & Compliance
   * Prepare and verify all VAT-related documents.
   * Check that VAT refund papers are complete and accurate.
   * Ensure invoices are compliant with Saudi requirements.
   * Follow up on ZATCA/e-invoicing requirements.
   * Prepare Zakat returns at the end of every quarter.
3. Monthly Profit & Loss Reports
   * Prepare a monthly Profit & Loss report for the full salon.
   * Prepare Profit & Loss reports for each technician based on:
   * Their sales
   * Their product/material costs
   * Their discounts
   * Their commission/salary cost
   * Their overall profitability
   * Help management understand which services, technicians, and departments are profitable.
4. Payroll & Salary Support
   * Prepare monthly salary calculations.
   * Include overtime, deductions, allowances, absences, commissions, bonuses, and penalties when applicable.
   * Keep salary records organized and confidential.
   * Support management with clear salary breakdowns when needed.
5. Cost Control & Inventory Financial Tracking
   * Track monthly spending for each department.
   * Compare product/material costs against monthly sales.
   * Highlight overspending or unusual expenses.
   * Help management control costs and improve profitability.
   * Support inventory-related financial reporting.
6. Supplier & Invoice Management
   * Organize supplier invoices and payment records.
   * Follow up on missing invoices or unclear receipts.
   * Make sure supplier payments are recorded correctly.
   * Keep all financial files updated and easy to access.
7. Financial Reporting to Management
   * Submit clear weekly and monthly financial summaries.
   * Report any missing documents, suspicious expenses, or financial mistakes.
   * Provide management with accurate numbers before business decisions.
   * Maintain full confidentiality regarding salon sales, salaries, profit, and expenses
8. Human Resource Management
   * Arranges shifts and sets schedules and calculates overtime.
   *Calculates commissions; including allocation of commission when someone else fixes the works etc.
   *Keeps track of 30% commission compqny keeps till the end of the month.

Required Skills
