Job Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator supports daily warehouse operations related to receiving, storing, and issuing raw materials and packaging materials for chocolate production. The role ensures proper handling under controlled conditions, accurate stock movement, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. This position is strictly focused on raw material handling and internal supply to production.
Key Responsibilities
1. Receiving & Inspection Support
- Assist in unloading and receiving raw materials and packaging materials.
- Check quantities, labels, and basic condition of materials against delivery documents.
- Support segregation and proper placement of materials in designated storage areas.
2. Storage & Handling
- Store materials according to defined locations, storage conditions, and allergen segregation rules.
- Handle materials carefully to avoid contamination, damage, or spillage.
- Follow proper palletizing, stacking, and labeling practices.
3. Inventory Support
- Assist in stock counting, cycle counts, and inventory checks.
- Support updating stock records in ERP systems.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or missing items to the supervisor.
4. FIFO / FEFO Implementation
- Ensure materials are picked and issued based on FIFO/FEFO principles.
- Identify and report near-expiry or expired materials.
5. Temperature & Cleanliness Control
- Follow required storage conditions.
- Assist in monitoring and recording temperature and humidity levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the warehouse at all times.
6. Production Support
- Prepare and stage raw materials for production as per instructions.
- Ensure timely supply of materials to avoid production delays.
- Return unused materials to proper storage locations after production.
7. Food Safety & Compliance
- Follow hygiene and food safety procedures in line with Saudi Food and Drug Authority and HACCP requirements.
- Use proper personal protective equipment.
8. Documentation Support
- Assist in maintaining basic records such as receiving logs, stock movement forms, and batch tracking.
- Ensure proper labeling and traceability of materials.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training is a plus).
- 1–3 years of warehouse experience, preferably in food or FMCG industry.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and material handling.
