Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring high-quality cleaning services are delivered in accordance with company standards and client requirements. The role focuses on maintaining service quality, operational efficiency, health & safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
Assign tasks and monitor productivity to ensure work is completed on time and according to quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and compliance with company and client requirements.
Train, coach, and support housekeeping employees on cleaning procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
Monitor attendance, shift schedules, and staff performance.
Manage cleaning supplies, chemicals, equipment, and inventory, ensuring proper usage and availability.
Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance or replacement when required.
Respond promptly to client requests, complaints, and operational issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Ensure proper documentation of operational activities and maintain accurate records.
Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Facility Management, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications in Housekeeping, Facilities Management, or Occupational Health & Safety are an advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping, cleaning services, facilities management, or hospitality.
Experience working in outsourced cleaning or facility management companies is preferred.
