Job description
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures, ensuring they are practical and effectively communicated to all personnel.
Deliver safety training sessions on topics such as hazard communication, emergency response, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Investigate workplace incidents and near misses, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and contributing to root cause analysis and prevention strategies.
Possession of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Certification such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent demonstrates a foundational understanding of safety principles.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a HSE role within the [Specify Industry, e.g., Oil & Gas, Construction, Manufacturing] sector.
Proficiency in conducting site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessment methodologies.
