Environmental Engineer

Company: Al-Qarafi Engineering Consultants – Jeddah is seeking an Environmental Engineer.

Location: Jeddah – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare environmental studies and reports.
• Prepare Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Environmental Management Plans (EMP).
• Review Saudi environmental regulations and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with relevant governmental agencies.
• Conduct field visits and prepare technical reports.
• Participate in preparing technical proposals and project-related recommendations.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including engineering, safety, and construction.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Sciences or a related field.
• Licensed by the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Licensed by the National Center for Environmental Compliance.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in environmental consultancy.
• Good knowledge of environmental systems and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Ability to prepare technical reports in Arabic and English.
• Experience in preparing environmental impact assessment studies is preferred.
