Heavy Duty Driver / Light Duty Driver

Role Purpose: The Heavy Duty Driver / Light Duty Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods, equipment, and materials across designated routes within KSA. The role requires strict adherence to traffic regulations, company policies, and Saudi labor law provisions, ensuring operational reliability and compliance.

• Operate heavy-duty vehicles (trailers, trucks, and other assigned vehicles) for transportation of goods.

• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo in compliance with safety standards.

• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues promptly.

• Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, and fuel consumption reports.

• Adhere to traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.

• Assist in vehicle maintenance scheduling and ensure vehicles are kept clean and roadworthy.

• Report accidents, delays, or route deviations immediately to the supervisor.

• Support operational handovers and asset transfers when required.

• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all dealings with customers and company representatives.

• Valid Saudi Heavy/ Light Vehicle Driving License.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Driver / Light Duty Driver, preferably in logistics, construction, or trading companies.

• Strong knowledge of KSA traffic rules, road networks, and safety regulations.

• Ability to handle long-distance driving and flexible working hours.

• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting.

• Good communication skills in English or Arabic.

• English Reading Skills and Numerical Skills.

• Ability to lift heavy loads and assist in loading/unloading.

• Physically fit and medically cleared for heavy vehicle operations.

• Willingness to relocate or commute as necessary.
