Mechanical Engineer - Maintenance

• Acts as head of a Mechanical function for a business unit. Plans, controls and manages all maintenance activities, ensuring that quality and service standards are met and that target are achieved, or exceeded, all within approved budget levels.

• Monitoring daily progress of Mechanical maintenance activities

• Finding better ways to modify or adjust the system to increase the life of running machines.

• Collecting critical repeating problems from subordinates and disusing/implementation of better solutions.

• Follow up critical spares directly to purchase department and suppliers

• Preparing annual budget for mechanical maintenance department and follow up the same.

• Keeping the correspondence with suppliers for developing the cost effective

• spares and reduce the maintenance cost

• Preparation of monthly report on maintenance activity, spares situation, down time details, maintenance cost etc.

• Supervise and coordinate with machine shop supervisor for developing spares in our own work shop to reduce the maintenance spares cost.

• Preventive maintenance follows up on Monitoring

• Do other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Overall maintenance control of tissue machine. Follow up any preventive maintenance activity, breakdown maintenance activity, and planned maintenance activity.

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering disciple, preferably Mechanical.

• Preferably 8 years in similar function.

• Advanced English language skills.

• Strong management and team leadership skills.

• Well-developed computer skills
