Maintenance Technician – Asset Management

Our construction-specialized company is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Asset Management to join our integrated technical and administrative team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, damage repair works, asset management, and construction equipment, along with strong organizational and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain company assets, including vehicles, machinery, and heavy construction equipment.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure project continuity.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards at job sites.
  • Coordinate repairs, periodic inspections, and servicing for all vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of asset condition, usage, maintenance history, and costs.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend replacements or upgrades when necessary.
  • Maintain validity of Istamara, Insurance, and Periodic Inspections.

Technical & Administrative Skills

  • Proficiency in AIMS or similar maintenance management systems.
  • Prepare maintenance reports and cost analyses for management review.
  • Track vehicle registrations, insurance renewals, and operational permits.
  • Strong planning, organization, and field task allocation skills.

Fleet / Construction-Focused Experience

  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs for heavy equipment and project vehicles.
  • Analyze fuel efficiency, mileage, and operating costs.
  • Coordinate with external workshops and suppliers for repairs and services.
  • Supervise vehicle and equipment tracking systems (GPS / Fleet Management Systems).

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in construction equipment maintenance or fleet/asset management.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with maintenance management software.
  • High reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work across multiple projects.
