What You'll Be Doing:
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, urban planners, and community members, to ensure the integration of sustainability principles into the design and development of the project.
- Oversee the development and implementation of sustainable infrastructure.
- Promote the use of sustainable building materials and construction practices.
- Develop and implement strategies for environmental protection and biodiversity conservation.
- Monitor and evaluate the environmental and social impacts of the project and make necessary adjustments to minimize negative impacts.
- Develop and implement policies and guidelines related to sustainability
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in sustainable development and best practices in green building and urban planning.
- Represent Parsons in meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
- Promote a culture of sustainability throughout the project.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- LEED AP BD+C with 5+ years proven experience in managing the LEED certification process for at least two LEED-certified projects (minimum Gold rated) of comparable size and scope.
- Experience to include LEED BD+C project administration services, from design to final handover, production and submission of the LEED supporting documentation to USGBC/GBCI, up to the successful achievement of the LEED certification award.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience.
- Strong understanding of environmental impact assessment and environmental management systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
