Job description
Oversee the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best terms.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track material levels, minimizing stock discrepancies and optimizing storage space.
Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with production and project management teams to forecast material needs and adjust orders accordingly to prevent production delays.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required, with a focus on material management.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in material control or inventory management within a manufacturing or construction environment is preferred.
Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) are highly desirable.
Proficiency in using ERP systems, especially SAP or Oracle, is essential for effective inventory tracking and reporting.
