Senior Accountant (Jordanian or Syrian Expats)

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our Company is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance Department in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for handling core accounting functions and financial reporting activities, supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate and compliant financial records across the company's construction and contracting operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle and manage General Ledger (GL) transactions, ensuring accurate and timely posting of all entries.
• Prepare and maintain Trial Balance and ensure all accounts are reconciled on a regular basis.
• Manage Related Parties transactions and ensure proper recording and reporting in line with company policies.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, collections follow-up, and reconciliation.
• Process and manage payroll-related transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with ZATCA requirements and Saudi tax regulations.
• Develop and maintain various financial reports and dashboards using advanced Excel tools and formulas.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all entries are complete and accurate.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as required during audit processes.
• Ensure all accounting activities are carried out in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
