Job description
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a wide range of industrial compressors, ensuring minimal downtime.
Perform routine preventive maintenance, including lubrication, filter changes, and system checks, to extend equipment life.
Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to accurately identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and equipment, such as multimeters and vibration analyzers, for precise troubleshooting.
Conduct system performance testing and adjustments to optimize efficiency and meet operational requirements.
Safely operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools, as well as specialized lifting and diagnostic equipment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA Section 608 Universal) are highly advantageous.
Proven experience working with various compressor types (e.g., reciprocating, centrifugal, screw, rotary vane).
Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and pneumatic systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Conducts complete chiller overhauls, compressor replacements, and performance testing.
