We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Farm supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a diversified commercial farm specializing in date palm cultivation, greenhouse production, and goat farming. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience managing date plantations, greenhouse operations, and goat production while ensuring high productivity, efficient resource utilization, animal welfare, and compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Date Palm Farm Supervision
- Supervise all date palm cultivation activities, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, pruning, pollination, thinning, pest and disease control, and harvesting.
- Monitor tree health and ensure best agricultural practices are followed to maximize yield and fruit quality.
- Oversee irrigation schedules and fertilizer application programs.
- Coordinate seasonal harvesting, grading, storage, and transportation of dates.
- Ensure farm equipment is properly maintained and efficiently used.
Greenhouse Supervision
- Supervise daily greenhouse operations, including crop planning, planting, irrigation, fertigation, climate control, and harvesting.
- Monitor greenhouse environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, ventilation, and lighting.
- Ensure integrated pest and disease management practices are implemented.
- Oversee efficient water and fertilizer use while maintaining crop quality and yield.
- Ensure greenhouse structures, irrigation systems, and environmental control equipment are properly maintained.
- Coordinate crop rotations and production schedules based on market demand.
Goat Farm Supervision
- Supervise the breeding, feeding, health, and welfare of goats.
- Oversee nutrition and feeding programs to optimize productivity.
- Coordinate vaccination, deworming, disease prevention, and veterinary care.
- Monitor breeding performance, kidding schedules, and herd records.
- Ensure proper housing, sanitation, and biosecurity practices are maintained.
Farm Operations
- Supervise, train, and motivate farm workers and assign daily tasks.
- Prepare work schedules and monitor employee performance.
- Maintain accurate farm records, including crop production, livestock, inventory, equipment maintenance, and operational costs.
- Assist in preparing operational budgets and monitoring expenses.
- Ensure compliance with local agricultural regulations, environmental standards, and occupational health and safety requirements.
- Coordinate procurement of farm inputs, equipment, feed, fertilizers, seeds, and other supplies.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, operational efficiency, and farm profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Animal Science, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
Experience
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in commercial farm supervision.
- Proven experience supervising date palm plantations, including cultivation, irrigation, pollination, pest control, and harvesting.
- Proven experience supervising greenhouse operations, including climate-controlled crop production, irrigation, fertigation, and greenhouse maintenance.
- Proven experience supervising goat farming operations, including breeding, nutrition, herd health, and production.
- Experience supervising multicultural farm labor teams.
- Hands-on experience with modern irrigation systems, fertigation systems, greenhouse technology, and agricultural machinery.
Skills

- Knowledge of integrated pest and disease control for date palms, greenhouse crops, and livestock.
- Strong understanding of irrigation, fertigation, greenhouse climate control, and sustainable farming practices.
- Knowledge of goat husbandry, breeding, nutrition, and animal health.
- Ability to prepare reports, production plans, and inventory records.
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and farm management software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on large-scale commercial farms in the GCC or Middle East.
- Knowledge of export-quality date production and greenhouse crop standards.
- Valid driving license.
- Ability to reside on-site if required.
