IT Manager / Technical Delivery Manager
Location: Saudi Arabia Type: Full-time, On-site
About the Engagement Talentspace is supporting a key client through a managed service engagement for a growing digital platform. The project is in an active build and execution phase and requires strong technical operations leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day delivery across development teams.
This role focuses on execution, coordination, and delivery, working closely with the CTO and executive stakeholders to ensure that development work is well-organized, tracked, and delivered on time.
Role Purpose The IT Manager / Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for managing the technical team on a day-to-day basis. This includes task assignment, progress tracking, issue resolution, and ensuring that delivery timelines and quality standards are consistently met.
This is a hands-on management role suited for someone who understands both technology and team execution.
Key Responsibilities • Manage daily operations of the development team (Back-end, Front-end, and Mobile) • Assign, track, and prioritize development tasks using project management tools • Monitor daily and weekly development progress and delivery milestones • Identify and resolve technical, operational, and team-related issues • Participate in evaluating, selecting, and onboarding developers for the team • Coordinate closely with the CTO and executive management on priorities and execution • Provide regular progress, risk, and delivery reports • Ensure clear communication, accountability, and structure across the development team
Authority & Decision-Making • Assign and reprioritize development tasks based on project needs • Recommend hiring, performance actions, or termination of developers • Manage daily team operations without constant executive intervention • Escalate risks and blockers with clear solution-oriented recommendations
Required Qualifications & Profile • Proven experience managing software development teams • Strong working knowledge of project management tools and delivery methodologies • Technical background sufficient to understand code, systems, and development challenges • Ability to balance delivery speed with quality and stability • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills • Experience working with CTOs or senior technical leadership is a strong advantage
