ASSISTANT CONSULTANT PEDIATRIC CARDIOVASCULAR ICU

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under Consultant supervision, participates in the care for the patients in PICU.
• Prepares and participates in the daily routines in the unit.
• Provides hospital wide consultations under the supervision of the attending Consultant Pediatric Intensivist.
• Shares the on-call duty for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit as per department policy.
• Participates in regular Department and/or PICU educational activities.
• Participates in research project within the department
• Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.
• Performing other appropriate tasks and duties as directed by the Department Chairman, Section Head of PICU or Consultant.

Bachelor Degree in Medicine

Post Graduate Certificate in Pediatrics enabling registration as Pediatric Senior Registrar with the SCFHS

Valid Professional License of Saudi Commission for Health Specialities (SCFHS) as Pediatric Senior Registrar

Minimum 1 year clinical work experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

English Language Proficiency - Level 1 - Essential

Computer Proficiency - Level 1 - Essential
