Procurement Officer

Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials (copper, PVC/XLPE, terminals, etc.)

Ensure timely sourcing to support uninterrupted production

Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms

Develop and maintain multiple vendors for critical materials

Monitor inventory levels and implement Min-Max / reorder systems

Reduce slow-moving and dead stock, ensure FIFO/FEFO practices

Coordinate with production and planning teams to avoid material shortages

Track material price trends and control procurement costs

Ensure on-time delivery and optimize logistics (local vs import)

Evaluate supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery)

Ensure compliance with IEC / SASO / UL and client specifications (Aramco/SEC if applicable)

Maintain procurement data and generate reports using ERP systems

Identify risks (price fluctuation, shortages) and develop backup plans

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

1–5 years of experience (Freshers with strong communication are welcome)

Preferred experience in wire, cable, or wiring harness manufacturing

Good negotiation and supplier management skills

Strong communication skills (English & Hindi preferred)

Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management

Familiarity with ErpNext systems is an advantage

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Good analytical and problem-solving skills
