Solar Technician

Install solar PV systems, including solar panels, mounting structures, inverters, batteries, and associated electrical components.

Perform DC and AC wiring, cable termination, and system interconnections.

Conduct testing, commissioning, and performance verification of solar PV systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot faults related to solar panels, inverters, batteries, monitoring systems, and electrical equipment.

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.

Prepare service reports, installation reports, and maintenance records.

Coordinate with project engineers, suppliers, and customers during installation and maintenance activities.

Support site surveys and technical inspections when required.

Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in solar PV installation, commissioning, maintenance, or related electrical field work, preferably in Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Experience with rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems is preferred.

Practical experience with solar inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and solar monitoring platforms.

Saudi Engineering Council (SEC) Solar PV Installer Certification is highly preferred.

Additional technical certifications related to solar energy or electrical systems are an advantage.

Currently based in Saudi Arabia, preferably Riyadh.

Willing to work on a split-shift schedule.

Willingness to travel to project and customer sites across Saudi Arabia as required.
