We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver account notifications, job posting alerts, and candidate application updates on Android devices. On iOS devices, we use Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) via Firebase. These providers are obligated not to use your data for any other purpose.
Payments
For processing payments, we use accredited third-party payment processors. We will not store or collect your payment card details. Payment processors we work with include:

Cloud Infrastructure
Our services are hosted on secure cloud infrastructure that ensures service continuity and the protection of your data.
Access to Candidate Data
Shougl acts as an intermediary between Employers and Job Seekers. Upon unlocking a candidate's data, the Employer becomes an independent data controller for that specific data under PDPL and bears full responsibility for compliance with its provisions. Job Seekers have consented, within their own Privacy Policy, to the sharing of their data with employers for recruitment purposes via the Shougl platform.
Links to Other Sites
Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from individuals under 18. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from a minor without verification of parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our servers.
Account Deletion & Consent Withdrawal
Account Deletion: You have the right to delete your account at any time directly from within the App via: Profile > Legal > Delete Account, or by contacting us at support@shougl.com. Upon execution of deletion:
- Account data, profile information, and job postings will be deleted within 30 business days.
- Certain data may be retained for up to 5 years to fulfil legal and accounting obligations.
- Financial transaction records will be retained as required by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA).
Consent Withdrawal: You may withdraw consent to non-mandatory data processing at any time via App settings or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing conducted prior to withdrawal.
App Permissions & Tracking Transparency
The App may request the following permissions to perform its core functions:
- Notifications: to send candidate application alerts, messages, and updates.
- Camera & Photos: when uploading a company logo or documents (optional).
- Location: to set a business location on job postings (optional).
The App does not track users across third-party apps or websites for targeted advertising purposes. On iOS devices, the App complies with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. All permissions can be managed and revoked at any time via your device settings.
